Purplicious is a children's picture book written by Victoria and Elizabeth Kann is a follow-up to their bestselling book, Pinkalicious. The story is about a girl named Pinkalicious, who loves the color pink, but is teased by her friends who have decided that black is the new trendy color. She becomes sad, or "has the blues," until she meets another girl who teaches her that pink can be a powerful color. The girl mixes pink and blue paint to make the color purple, calling it "purplelicious". The book highlights the importance of staying true to yourself and loving the color that makes you happy.
